Spicy Tuna Spaghetti Recipe
Spicy Tuna Spaghetti

This is a very simple and easy to prepare pasta dish. It would only take around 30 minutes to prepare and cook it. And this is great for a healthier snack than the meat flavored ones. Here's the recipe.


500g spaghetti pasta
3 180g mega tuna flakes, Spanish-style (but any canned tuna will do)
2 medium onions, diced
1 garlic bulb, diced
5 large tomatoes, diced
2 tbsp olive oil (but any cooking oil will do)
salt and ground pepper to taste
1/2 cup grated cheese

How to make spicy tuna spaghetti

1. Prepare and cook the pasta based on the packaging instructions (around 10-12 minutes).
2. In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic and onions until slightly transparent.
3. Add diced tomatoes and sauté for around 5 minutes or until the tomatoes are soft.
4. Season with ground pepper and salt, if need be. (I didn't add salt in mine as the tuna I used is already quite salty for my taste.)
5. Add canned tuna and grated cheese and let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
6. Toss the pasta in the pan or place the spaghetti pasta in a plate and add tuna sauce as toppings.

That's it, healthy tuna spaghetti is ready for serving. Enjoy!
