Milk Tea Craze | FRNK's Cinnamon Miruku

FRNK's cinnamon miruku

Milk tea craze still isn't over yet. Even during this rainy season here in the Philippines, you can still find popular milk tea bars with long lines of people waiting to be served. I've tried several brands already but I haven't tried FRNK's yet. Last Sunday however, while waiting for BFF browsing for sale items in Handyman (Trinoma), I noticed FRNK's milk bar on the opposite side. This brand is quite a hype on its opening in Glorietta so when I noticed their shop in Trinoma, I can't help but buy one and try (even though my pocket's on a diet :P).

Since it's quite early at that time, there's only a few people waiting in line. I browsed the displayed menu and ask the staff for the best seller. The staff said that all items marked with a "heart" are best sellers. There are several menu items marked with a "heart" but I chose cinnamon miruku. Cinnamon Miruku is an iced shaken spiced milk tea drink with black tea, cinnamon, drizzle of dark sugar and basil drops. I'm so glad I chose cinnamon miruku. The black tea is not overpowering; it has just a light hint of cinnamon; it's not too sweet; and best of all, I love the good chewy sinkers (basil drops) in it. I said in my previous milk tea posts that Tiger Sugar is my favorite of them all but now I changed my mind. FRNK's cinnamon miruku is my new favorite, though it's a bit pricey for its size, compared with other milk tea brands. Nevertheless, it is still my new favorite. Let's see if I'll again change my mind after I try some other brands. 'Til next time...
