Sunday Shutter Delights | Avocado For A Healthy Heart


Avocado is one of my favorite fruits. I love it on a shake, on my salad; I love it as it is with a bit of brown sugar. I used to have it with milk, too, but since I need to be conscious of my fat intakes, I only add a bit of brown sugar to my avocado nowadays.

Avocado is very nutritious fruit. It has lots of vitamins and minerals which include vitamin C and potassium. And it's a good source of monounsaturated fat, too; a good fat that helps reduce the risk of heart disease. It's also good for the skin and the eyes and has lots of antioxidants that are good for the body, in general.
