Sunday Shutter Delights | Cherries to Counter Uric Acid

As I said in one of my recent posts (Fruity Breakfast to Counter Uric Acid), I am currently trying to lower my uric acid level. Lots of research and readings online led me to cherries, a fleshy drupe (stone fruit) of the genus prunus avium. Cherries are believed to be good at reducing high uric acid level. So here I am, buying and eating a cup of this fruit every week, aside from medication. Hopefully, on my next scheduled check up, my uric acid level has gone down.
