Malaysia's Char Kway Teow or Char Kuey Teow

Char Kuey Teow or Char Kway Teow is one of the popular dishes in Malaysia. The word char means "fried" and kway teow or kuey teow refers to the "flat rice noodles", which is the main ingredient of the dish. Char Kway Teow is usually made with seasoned rice noodles being stir-fried in a very high heat with cockles (batotoy in Tagalog, litub or litob in Visayan language) and bean sprouts as added ingredients.

Char Kway Teow is one of the dishes I've tried when I visited Malaysia in 2012.
