Sunday's Shutter Delights | Pinoy Street Food: Kwek Kwek

kwek kwek

Kwek kwek - a deep-fried battered quail eggs, one of the popular street foods in the Philippines.

Recently, Filipino foods get the spotlight when one travel blogger had posted her not-so-good experiences about our foods, though she recently edited her headline to qualify street rather than Filipino foods, in general. I myself have some reservations about street foods. I really am not a fan but sometimes, I give in to cravings, too.

The photo above was taken during our road trip to Rizal, outside the Antipolo Church complex specifically. I didn't only take photos of them, I bought some and ate them too. Yummmm!!!! ^_^
